It is our honor to have Mrs. Ruby Lam, Assistant Head, Career Centre, Dean of Students’ Office of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as the guest speaker in “One Day In University” which was held on 20th February. Mrs Lam shared some key points of career planning regarding selection of suitable university and subject, including how to achieve a balance between interests, ability and future career. Moreover, some OSAr and YASIArs also shared their experience on course selection and University life in Hong Kong, Mainland, England, United States and Taiwan. We believe that participants have established goals and ready to step forward on their own way to higher education after the activity.
In addition, the mock interview sessions were successfully held on 27th February, participants accomplished an online mock interview about either university, internship or oversea exchange programs under the guidance by interview judges performed by OSArs and YASIArs, participants acquired valuable experience and was well-equipped to face different types of interviews in the future. Thanks HKUST Career Centre once again for providing the venue and assisting the online activity, as well as the great help and support from all interview judges!
