Anissa Wong is Director of Asset Allocation at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, responsible for the business management of the Exchange Fund. Previously, Anissa served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Financial Services Development Council and has worked across multiple departments in the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Prior to joining the public sector, she worked in the London headquarters and the Hong Kong office of Standard Chartered Bank, accumulating years of experience in corporate development, communications and corporate social responsibility projects, including the Hong Kong Marathon, youth art education, sight restoration causes and HIV awareness programmes.
Anissa pursued her master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Oxford, specialising in the sociology of education. Her master thesis studied the cultural context of education mobility in China. She has taught in her alma mater, Diocesan Girls’ School and is passionate about youth development work.
