Frederick Ma is a Development Officer at The HKFYG Leadership Institute, where he designs, coordinates, and runs English-based youth leadership programmes, including the HKFYG English Public Speaking Contest. As a former secondary English teacher, he is passionate about empowering young people through language, believing that the way we speak shapes the way we think.
Frederick graduated from the University of Hong Kong with First Class Honours and a full scholarship, holding a double bachelor’s degree in Language Education with majors in English Education, Linguistics, and Counselling. He also completed a TESOL teacher development programme at the University of Queensland.
