An over zealous hurdle practice forced Katie to suspend school for half a year. The sojourn was a blessing in disguise that helped Katie to be more appreciative of life and volunteering service. Once back to school, she values every opportunity to learn and to serve. Katie, well rounded and mature beyond her age, has been President of the St. Rose of Lima’s College Student Council for two consecutive terms. Her parents encourage her to be independent and support her pursuits in humanity studies. Katie aspires to promoting English literature and enthuse children to appreciate its charm.
